[X] years ago, I joined the board of Community Spring because I saw how poverty was being systemically enforced in our communities and knew we needed a different approach.
In my time on the board, I’ve seen how neighbors returned from incarceration face an uphill battle: court debt, housing discrimination, and the pressure of supporting a family without a fair chance at employment. And I’ve watched Community Spring meet that challenge head-on.
