Sarah Jacobs is a woman of unwavering faith. As a formerly incarcerated single mother, she refuses to let her past define her. Instead, she is transforming her lived experience into purpose.
Sarah’s story begins long before motherhood or incarceration. As a former foster child, she knows the ache of instability and the loneliness of navigating systems that were never designed with her in mind. Today, she carries that history as a lantern, determined to be a guiding light for children and families currently moving through the foster care system.
She has a vision to open a halfway house specifically for single mothers returning home from incarceration, a sanctuary for healing, stability, and second chances.
She is a devoted mother, fiercely committed to giving her child a life that is richer, safer, and more nurturing than the one she had. Her love is intentional, her parenting is rooted in growth, and her mission is to build a foundation for her child that stretches far beyond the limits of her own upbringing. Her life is a testament to resilience, faith, and the belief that every wound can become a source of wisdom.
